“No risk, no fun” does not apply when handling chemical cleaning and disinfection products. When it comes to occupational safety, it’s always better to be safe than sorry.
Cleaning and disinfecting barns involves working with chemical products that carry inherent risks. Improper use or insufficient personal protection can result in health issues, skin irritation, respiratory problems, or accidents.
Always follow the instructions outlined in the product’s Safety Data Sheet (SDS). Our guide explains which personal protective equipment (PPE) should be worn for each product to ensure safe and compliant use.

Step 1
Open safety data sheet
In the MS Schippers webshop, go to the product page of the product you want to use. Scroll down to the section called "Additional documents" and click on the file named "Safety data sheet".:format(webp))

Read instructions
In the safety data sheet, scroll down to the section titled "personal protection" and read the instructions on which personal protective equipment (PPE) you need to wear.:format(webp))
Step 3
Find the right product
Depending on the instructions, you may be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) that complies with specific standards. These standards are indicated by EN numbers (e.g. EN 374) or EN ISO numbers (e.g. EN ISO 374). In our webshop, we indicate which products comply with which standards. Simply scroll down on the product page, e.g. for gloves to the section titled "specifications."
