The feed sieve can be used to determine the structural distribution of feedmeal and roughage. Depending on the settings and quality of the mill, the ground products vary in size.

The sieve box is supplied including measuring cup.

• Put two representative samples of feed in the sieve box
• Close the lid tightly and shake for at least 4 minutes
• The fat content of the feed can affect the sievability

• Grains that are too large can be considered as poorly digestible. Grains that are too small can lead to problems in the gastrointestinal tract.
• It is important that the proportions for each animal group are correct.
