MS Food Alk 207 is a strong liquid alkali cleanser, with excellent cleaning characteristics. It does not foam and so it is ideal for pipelines and feed mixers. It can be used on stainless steel, glass or synthetic material. For regular removal of lime-scale or metallic residue, use MS TMC Acid.

Eg sodium hydroxide and sodium hypochlorite

• General: Rinse with clean, lukewarm water until all visible milk residues are removed. Then circulate with 0.5% solution of MS Food Alk 207 for 10-15 minutes. The temperature of the rinsing liquid should be about 60 °C at the beginning of the cleaning. The final temperature should preferably be at least 40 °C. Rinse with water of drinking water quality. We recommend for the periodically removal of lime, scale and metal a cleaning with MS TMC Acid. MS Food Alk 207 can be used in intensive veal calf rearing for removal of medication scale in buffer mixers and feeding pipelines. The mixers must be running while cleaning takes place.
• Calf rearing: Pre-rinse with clean warm water until all visible traces of milk are removed. Rinse for 1hr at a temp. of at least 60ºC using a concentration of 1-3% MS Food Alk 207. Rinse with hot water, (minimum temperature 40ºC.) Rinse with cold water, not forgetting the draining points. MS Food Alk 207 can be used in intensive pig farming for cleaning and disinfecting feeding installations and pipelines, etc.
• Pig farming: Pre-rinse with clean warm water until all visible traces are removed. Rinse for 1 hr with a concentration of 1-5% (depending upon the level of pollution) MS Food Alk 207, possiblywith hot water. Rinse very thoroughly, using water with a minimum temperature of 40ºC. The cleanser- and rinsing fluid can be drained in to the slurry system.
• Professional washing machines for crates: If necessary pre rinse with water until loose remains are disappeared. Rinse 1-60 minutes (temperature 25-60ᵒC) with a concentration of 1-3% MS Food Alk 207 (depending upon the level of pollution). If necessary rinse with sufficient water.
