The Blitz-Kerner captive bolt gun has a solid nickel-plated construction that makes it a sturdy model. This solid model has slight recoil. Firing pin penetration initiates a pressure wave, which anaesthetises the animal definitively, and you can slaughter it painlessly.

Solid nickel-plated construction

• Green cartridges: Sheep and goats up to 35 kg, calves up to 100 kg and pigs up to 50 kg
• Yellow cartridges: Ewes heavier than 35 kg, calves up to 300 kg, horses, pigs up to 100 kg
• Blue cartridges: Cows, oxen and steers up to 600 kg and pigs heavier than 100 kg
• Red cartridges: Cows, oxen and steers heavier than 600 kg, and boars and sows heavier than 200 kg
