PCE MS-777A Infrared Thermometer is a contactless thermometre to remotely measure the temperature of surfaces and objects: the red infrared beam allows quick and accurate measuring of the correct surface.
The meter comes with a 9 battery, a case and a manual.
This infrared thermometre is very suitable for measuring the temperature of the piglet nest to detect heat loss in walls, floors and ceilings.
The distance from the measuring point determines the cross section of the measuring point. It is usually undesirable to measure a larger measurement area. If the distance from the thermometre to the measuring point is 200 mm, the diameter of the measuring point is 25 mm. However, if you stand 1,600 mm (1.6 meter) away from the measuring point then the measuring point has a crosssection of 200 mm
