Soil predatory mite for controlling the eggs of various types of flies. Highly suitable for use in stables and manure storage areas to combat fly eggs.
Rhino-Mite is a soil predatory mite that thrives in manure because it can find its food there. It moves very quickly, allowing it to spread rapidly after release. It has a high developmental rate and easily establishes itself in the manure. Release can be done by spreading the carrier material over the manure, distributing it along the edges of stables and manure storage areas. The predatory mites will then quickly spread and start consuming fly eggs. Even when manure is transported from the stables to the manure storage area, some predatory mites will go along. They can continue their beneficial work there, while enough remain in the stables to keep feeding.
Preventively, 1 package of 50,000 predatory mites per 200 square meters of stable and manure storage area. Repeat every 2 weeks during the summer.
