Granulate is an anti-slip material that can be used on floor coatings and screeds to make the floor less slippery and provide more grip for its users. The granulate is fire-dried and stripped of organic substances.

The granulate must be sprinkled on a floor coating that is still wet for good adhesion and a top layer must always be applied on the granules to ensure good sealing and durability.

Spreading

• The granules must be applied during coating
• The floor should still be wet during application so that the granules can adhere to the coating
• The next day the coated floor should be swept with a hard broom in order to remove all loose granules
• The drying and hardening time is equal to the time given in the instructions of the coating used
• Subsequently, a final layer of coating should be applied to make the floor liquid resistant
• This way the antislip properties will be maintained and the floor will still be easy to clean.
